The Fifty-Niner

The experience here was impressive. We loved our cocktails and wine. Adam and Genevieve were excellent at guiding us through the unique menu items. The charcuterie board was the best pairing and also had items paired with each other which was explained when it was served to us. We enjoyed our time and will be back for sure!

We walked in a hour before they closed. Customer service was great. Very friendly waitress. Restaurant and bathrooms were super clean and well kept. Food was quick and hot very good choices of sauces for wings. If I ever go back to La Porte would definitely go back for their wings.

Shuga’s

Shuga’s

Shuga’s is a gem of a spot for lunch or dinner! Traveling through COS and this place came recommended. So glad we tried it! Cocktails are fantastic, the sandwich’s are 12/10! Every bite it just tastes better and better. The Butter Almond Cake for desert was also divine! Atmosphere: Slightly elevated, yet calm and cozy. We enjoyed our “light” dinner very much, but in full honesty since it’s a very small menu I’d actually recommend this for a great brunch or lunch spot. Overall though it’s an excellent spot! Also love the cranes on the ceiling! After just living in Japan for 3 years, I loved that touch!

MacKenzie’s Chop House

MacKenzie’s Chop House

We made a reservation for a birthday meal here on the patio for a Sunday evening, we arrived at the time and waited maybe 10 minutes for our table. The patio was beautiful and comfortable with privacy from the street. The service was impeccable and so helpful. Everything was fresh and delicious and made exactly as ordered, steaks were cooked perfectly and each dessert was delicious! Our bill was around $200 for 3 people and we had leftovers to take home. Was wished a happy birthday and they comped one of the desserts as a gift. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone and I cannot wait to come back!

The Rabbit Hole

The Rabbit Hole

The Rabbit Hole is a restaurant you must try! Everything about our experience was five stars, hands down. When we arrived for our reservation we were seated in a high traffic area. I asked our waitress if there were any other tables in a quieter area of the restaurant and she went out of her way to find us one no questions asked. I had the Duck and my wife had the Filet. Both dishes were delicious! We will definitely be returning to the Rabbit Hole very soon.

The Black Sheep

Absolutely excellent! Great small indoor venue, has clean restrooms, reasonably priced drinks and even though it claims ‘standing room only’, there are small benches along each wall to get it a sit down if you need it. Couldn’t recommend this venue enough, and of course they held the show for Slothrust, so they get extra brownie points!
