Mom’s Home Cafe
Super cute place near Pine lake.
We stopped there for lunch.
The service was fast. The ambiance was friendly. The lady who took our orders was really nice and kind. The food was basic but delicious. Everything was fresh.
We were happy that a place like this still exists nowadays despite the fast food chains that are all over.
If you look for a cozy place with human contact and good food, this is probably the one.

Tasty food! We had appetizers & sandwiches. Their Cuban is terrific. The grown up grilled cheese with Guyere & grilled onions was a hit for 2 of our group. The food is fresh. The bread is the star of all their sandwiches. From a local bakery…so good!
A Whole World Of Good Coffee
Amazingly curated shop of wonders, that also happens to serve coffee. The women behind the counter were very nice, and made some delicious caffeinated treats. The coffee was top notch and it was a nice bonus to get to walk around the shop and see all of the goodies. Also loved that they had a great non alcoholic drink selection.
The Dessert Café
This place SERIOUSLY rivals AND BEATS all the big box coffee shops. The service, the atmosphere is all top notch. The last couple visits I ask Summer (who is AWESOME) to surprise me and I’ve not been disappointed with the selection. Definitely check out this hidden gem downtown LaPorte while you’re out shopping or just enjoying your summer. You’ll be back! 😋☕️

Been going here for a while now and they never disappoint with their shrimp spring rolls and Pho😋 The owner is always polite and the service was Great! Every time I go everything is fresh

I ordered here last night first time in a while. The food was great. My family and I ate the leftovers today for lunch. I recommend this place the price is reasonable and the food is good. The order was and is always correct anytime I have went here.
